it’s good to protect your valuables against break in and certain events like fire. call state farm and someone can discuss it with you. it’s usually 20 or so buck a month.

It’s a great deal for the money!! I have it had 20 years.. for approximately 30, 000 coverage on my household contents & jewlery – it costs less than $125 a year. I had a theft claim abt 12 years ago and just recently this month-had my home broken into… an approx loss of almost 5,000.. I have a $250 deductible. I supplied the police report, gave a statement and just found out today-the check is in the mail!
It doesnt get any easier than that..

Renters insurance is fairly cheap and would cover all your household items if for some reason you would be burglarized or the place would burn down. It’s a good idea to have it because landlords don’t carry insurance for such things. They only carry insurance to cover themselves.

Renters insurance is designed for people who don’t own their home, but want to protect their personal belongings in case of fire, theft, vandalism, etc. You can be held responsible for injury to another person or for damage to another person’s property if an incident occurred within your rented residence, or elsewhere. Renters insurance can help protect you in case of a liability lawsuit against you.

I happen to have renters insurance, and I pay $18 a month to have some security for my belongings, however meager they might be. If you’re interested, you can get quotes at places like statefarm.com.

No it can be bery helpful, It pays for itself pretty much, most places IE Statefarm or Farmers, will do a policy for like 25 bucks a month, If you live in Apt, say u get broken into which in all likeliness can/will happen, you can file the claim, and you get back pretty much most of what was taken cash value wise. But be sure you have either a photograph or something backed up on like a flash drive that you carry on u at all times in event you have it to a computer. That way you have actual proof you really owned it, teh ngive a copy to the insurance agent
