You&#039;ll have to buy a policy out there, and cancel it when you&#039;re done. It&#039;s not the California part that your insurer is having a hard time with - it&#039;s the &quot;driving for work purposes&quot;. And depending on what you&#039;re doing, that can get VERY expensive.
